Please note that this trip is advertised as Scotland (Group B) as there is a second trip, Scotland (Group A) that is being advertised for different dates with a different itinerary.

June 24  Arrive at Edinburgh and hop aboard our bus before heading South to Rosslyn Chapel, best known from the Da Vinci Code, as well as Abbotsford House, the home of Sir Walter Scott, with it's impressive collection of books, artifacts, and weaponry. Overnight in Melrose.

June 25  Enjoy a private tour of the remains of the Roman Fort at Vindolanda and the Roman Army Museum before heading to the Steel Ring viewpoint at Hadrian's Wall -- the UNESCO World Heritage site and former Roman fortification protecting England from Scotland. From there we visit the Sill Visitor Centre, the gateway to Northumberland National Park, before returning to Melrose for the evening.

June 26  Visit Melrose Abbey, the final resting place of Robert the Bruce, before exploring South Queensferry and the iconic 19th century Forth Bridge. Then continue on to the magical Hermitage in Perthshire forest, designed as a pleasure ground in the 18th century for the Duke of Atholl. Overnight in Pitlochry.

June 27  We begin at Scone Palace, the crowning place of Scottish Kings including Macbeth, Robert the Bruce, and Charles II. After lunch in Braemar, surrounded by the Grampian Mountains, we continue on to Balmoral Castle which serves as the Scottish holiday home for the Royal Family. Overnight in Pitlochry.

June 28  Spend the morning exploring the historic town of St. Andrews, known as the "Home of Golf." The group has the option to visit the Cathedral and Castle, or to tour the British Golf Museum and stroll along the beach. In the afternoon we had to the classic Scottish event known as the Highland Games, where travelers will witness the caber-toss, hammer-throw, dancing and bagpipe competitions. Overnight in Edinburgh.

June 29  Explore Edinburgh by visiting the Castle, perched atop an extinct volcano, along with the National War Memorial and Royal Palace. In the afternoon jump into the Old Town of Edinburgh and visit Greyfriars Kirkyard, walk the Royal Mile, go inside St. Giles Cathedral, and see the last remaining section of the old city walls and hidden gardens.

June 30  Pack your bags as our bus will take us on to Edinburgh airport for your departure, or extend your stay and continue exploring on your own!

ACTIVITY LEVEL: MODERATE 


This tour requires participants to be able to walk up to a few miles each day and navigate hilly, uneven terrain, including cobblestone streets and historic sites with limited accessibility. Travelers should be prepared for moderate physical activity to fully enjoy the experience. If you have concerns about mobility, please contact us for more information.


This travel package will include 6 nights accommodation, in-country transportation, English speaking driver and guides, entrance and admission fees for all scheduled sites, 7 breakfasts, and 2 group dinners.  Airfare, additional meals, drinks, tips, and souvenirs are not included.


Pricing & Deadlines

Standard Pricing  $3,250 per person for a shared room, additional $750 for a single room.  Registration deadline February 15, 2025.

Note: All guests are responsible for booking their own airfare, in order to best ensure their travel preferences and comfortability are met.  Once registration is closed, the museum will provide a recommended flight(s) or times in order to accommodate airport pick-up and drop-off.

Terms and Conditions

1. A $100 non-refundable security deposit is required at time of registration. Additional $1,500 is due by registration deadline for selected price point.  Remainder due by March 15, 2025. Security deposit can be paid by credit card with no additional fee, however remaining payments should be made by check, payable to CRF Museum, or be charged an additional 3% credit card processing fee.

2. Minimum of 10 guests required to fulfill trip. Spots will be booked in order of online registration.

3. All guests are responsible for ensuring passport status and meeting all travel requirements, including entry to Scotland and England. The CRF Museum and our travel partners cannot be held liable if your trip is impacted by health, legal, or other issues out of our control.

4. Cancellation, minus security deposit, is only refundable up to the advertised registration deadline after which payments are non-refundable.  In the event of nationwide covid-19 lockdowns, natural disasters, war, etc. the CRF Museum reserves the right to cancel the entirety of the trip after this deadline. In the unlikely event of an emergency cancelation, the museum will refund the full amount possible according to agreements with our travel partners.

5. We encourage guests to purchase travel insurance or use a credit card with automatic coverage when purchasing airfare. CRF Museum and travel partners cannot be held liable for any loss of funds due to termination or changes to your trip.

6. Ensure your passport is valid!  If you need to renew or apply for a new one, visit here.

7. All guests are required to complete and sign a travel agreement and waiver release in order to participate in this tour. The travel agreement and waiver release will be sent following registration.
