December 3 Arrive in Munich and check into hotel before receiving an orientation tour of the city and a welcome dinner at a Munich beerhall.
December 4 We depart Munich and head toward the Alps, visiting Oberammergau before taking a cable car to the top of Zugspitze (the highest mountain in Germany). We'll end the day in Hall in Tirol, Austria.
December 5 Today we explore Innsbruck, the former seat of the Hapsburg empire and the two-time host of the Winter Olympics.
December 6 We'll head through mountain passes to reach Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart, for a brief visit before continuing on to the rural region of Upper Austria. Enjoy a farm and distillery tour followed by a private farm-to-table dinner, including local schnapps.
December 7 Explore a castle-turned-brewery in the morning, before learning how to play eisstöcke (the predecessor to curling) and an afternoon at Schloss Ort and exploring the advent market along the Traunsee. We end with a traditional dinner for the area, specially prepared just for our group.
December 8 We first head to an alpine farming museum hosting an advent market of only local, handmade goods -- a fan favorite from our last trip -- before heading back to Munich, stopping along at the Silent Night chapel on the way.
December 9 Today we continue exploring Munich with the option to visit the Dachau Concentration Camp for those interested.
December 10 After breakfast, head to airport for departures or continue exploring on your own. Auf Wiedersehen!
