Volunteers play essential roles in sharing our rich collections, exhibitions, research, and educational programming with the public. Our dedicated volunteers truly embody our mission; they enable the community to connect with the past to understand the present and create a better future.
Volunteering can be a rewarding way to immerse yourself into the fabric of the museum and our community, providing a new passion and according to many a new sense of purpose. We are always on the lookout for dynamic, curious individuals who want to be a part of the CRF team. With that in mind, we invite all interested persons to join us for this informational workshop and introduction to the museum and roles that volunteers play here.
This no-commitment required meeting will cover the types of volunteers we are looking for, some of the basic time requirements and other responsibilities, as well as a brief tour of the museum to better explain some of the volunteer tasks.
If attendees are interested in volunteering after the meeting, they are invited to fill out a quick volunteer application form that lists which positions they are interested in helping with. Those interested, but unable to attend the workshop, are welcome to review the basic information and fill out the application form here.
Although registration is not required to attend, it will help us know how many materials and refreshments to prepare.
